A commitment to bringing good people through the ranks and to grow all business units and locations has enabled Vincents to appoint 4 new directors into their leadership team for the 2017/18 financial year.

  • 75% are internal promotions
  • 75% are female promotions
  • 75% are in regional offices
  • Leadership team now totals 36 nationally

Vincents has announced its new partner intake for 2017, promoting Ashley Leslie and Louisa Sijabat from their Insolvency & Reconstruction division and Josie Marie-Lopez from Audit & Assurance to directors effective 1 July.

Mariano Rossetto also joins Vincents from 1 July as an external appointment to Director in Forensic Services.  Coming from Slater & Gordon, Mr Rossetto has an extensive forensic accounting background spanning over 32 years – including time at Deloitte and Furzer Crestani.

Managing director David Rose said these promotions, which bring the Vincents leadership team to 36 Directors nationally, reflect not only the firm’s commitment to growth across all business units but also internal promotions and efforts to increase diversity amongst the leadership team.

“The firm’s Core Competency Matrix clearly defines what is required in order to progress within the firm and the training it will invest to help employees succeed,” Mr Rose said. “Watching our staff members grow and develop in our backyard is a vital part of the firms’ past and future success … and one that we are delighted to share with the community.”

“We have always had a strong female presence with 63% of our current Managerial positions being held by females, but these appointments move up to the next level by significantly increasing our Board’s female representation from 15% to 25%.”

“Attaining a high level of gender diversity is a paramount business consideration at Vincents and this year’s strong contingent of female promotions really demonstrates the success of the range of initiatives we have put in place – including gender remuneration gap analysis, paid parental leave and flexible working arrangements to support employees with family and caring responsibilities”.

“The broad skillsets and experience that these 4 appointments bring give us the confidence that we have the right leadership team to further drive all our business units in our regional markets and help execute our vision of expanding our operations on the eastern seaboard”.
