Vincents has made 3 senior appointments as part of an ongoing commitment and investment in the depth of their Assurance & Risk Advisory capacity due to sustained increasing demand and the firm’s commitment to always provide extraordinary client care.

Chiew Lee, formerly of Department of Social Services and PwC; Bree Jones, formerly of KPMG;  and Victor Uson, formerly of EY & PwC, have joined the Vincents Assurance & Risk Advisory team.  Chiew will be operating from Vincents Canberra Office, whilst Bree and Victor will be based in the Brisbane Office.

Chiew has been appointed as a Manager and brings with her 11 years of professional experience with a career encompassing internal audit and risk expertise, as well as financial assurance expertise, gained whilst working with the Department of Social Services and PwC.  Her background includes an in depth knowledge and experience of the workings of Government through operating in executive roles in the Commonwealth Government in internal audit, as well as from providing internal audit, risk and financial assurance services in her senior role with PwC.

Bree brings over 11 years of professional experience at KPMG (both in Australia and Canada) and further increases the capacity of Vincents in the areas of internal audit, assurance and risk.  She has excellent knowledge and experience with the Queensland public sector, energy and natural resources and the construction industries.

Victor brings over 11 years of professional experience with PwC, Crowe Howarth and EY, significantly increasing the firm’s depth of expertise in financial assurance – including financial statement audit and related services.   He holds significant experience with both listed and unlisted entities across the retail, entertainment, oil and gas, mining and construction industries as well as the not-for-profit sector.

The collective experience, management and leadership background of these latest appointments make an exciting addition to the journey of client care, success and strong growth experienced since Vincents established its assurance and risk advisory services offerings four years ago, according to Managing Director David Rose:

“It’s an exciting time for assurance & risk advisory services and for the firm as a whole – with the investment in these excellent people further consolidating our firm’s depth of expertise, technical skills and our ongoing commitment to bring the best people to our clients”

“These are skills that enable them to provide innovative and practical solutions to the challenges organisations face today including the increasing demand for greater transparency, efficient and reliable reporting, improving efficiency and effectiveness of performance, management of risk and assurance over governance and internal controls.”
