Vincents has recently invested in software which allows a more secure way to provide and receive documents with you.

Sending an email is like sending a postcard: everyone or every system that handles it can see and record what you’ve written.

While the risk of sensitive information being accessed by third parties is low, it still exists.  By providing you the ability to login and retrieve the documents we send you, or for you to provide to us, it mitigates this risk.

Accessing the portal for the first time

You will receive an email invitation from us to access the portal, click on the link in the email and this will take you to an area to enter your password. (Please note passwords must contain at least one capital letter and one number and be at least 8 characters in length.)

Once you have entered your password, you will be redirected to the portal login page where you then enter your user name (email address) and password to access the portal.

What happens next?

When we upload a file for you, you will receive an email from Vincents with a link to the client portal. Click on the link and enter your username  and password. This will then open the client portal to the documents for your viewing.

When you select a file in your portal, you can either preview the document or download the document to your personal computer.

You can also upload files to us!

Using your same login and password details, documents can be uploaded for us to access.

From the documents tab, select upload file which will open file explorer. Select the file(s) you wish to upload and select open.

You can also upload documents by dragging and dropping them into the portal website.

A notification will pop-up to show progress and will automatically minimize once the files have been fully uploaded.

There is no need to let us know that you have uploaded documents either, as the system notifies us when you have done so.

What are the benefits to me?

  • Easily transfer files between yourself and us. There is no longer a need to mail your records in to us. Simply upload your files and they are saved securely.
  • Access to your documents whenever you need them.
  • More security for your personal information.

When will it start?

We are progressively rolling the system out to our clients, with the typical catalyst being when we finish your annual returns.
