Who is eligible?

To qualify for the wage subsidy, your business must:

  1. Have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN): This ensures that your business is registered and operating legally in Australia.
  2. Be registered with Workforce Australia Online for Businesses: This platform allows you to manage your wage subsidy agreements and payments efficiently.
  3. Engage with approved providers: You must work with Workforce Australia, Workforce Australia – Transition to Work, or ParentsNext providers to fill the position.

Steps to Access Wage Subsidies

  • Enter into a Wage Subsidy Agreement:
  • Register with Workforce Australia Online for Businesses
  • Your wage subsidy agreement must be finalised online within 28 days of the new employee’s start date.
