Paul Vincent 

Expertise

Paul works on a comprehensive engagement profile across the area of forensic accounting in the commercial group. His expertise is in commercial litigation disputes, estate litigation, valuations, professional negligence and large family law matters.

Paul is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and holds specialist designations from CAANZ in Forensic Accounting and Business Valuations. He is also an Assessor for CAANZ’s specialist accreditation in both those specialisations for members seeking those specialist designations.

Throughout his career, Paul’s involvement with his profession has been extensive.  Most recently, in August 2022, Paul was re-appointed as Chair of the CAANZ’s Professional Conduct Committee.

Background

Paul founded Vincents in 1989. He has an extensive background in litigation support and forensic accounting across his specialties. He has worked in various fields within accounting, including his early audit, taxation, insolvency and consulting career at KPMG (formerly Hungerfords).

Paul has published and presented papers on a variety of forensic accounting issues both in Australia and overseas for legal bodies, universities and various professional organisations, including ‘Assessment of Damages in Commercial Disputes’ workshops for NSW Law Society/NSW College of Law and Queensland Law Society Symposium Chartered Accountants Australia and new Zealand. He is also a guest lecturer at Queensland University of Technology’s Master of Business.
