Background

As a Chartered Accountant, experienced General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of an ASX listed entity in “turnaround”, and Chartered Company Secretary she regularly looks ‘beyond the numbers’ to provide context, clarity, and direction for all stakeholders – often in times of uncertainty.

Her unique blend of finance, people, and transformation capabilities (including compliance, internal and external reporting, performance improvement, restructure, and corporate finance) means she is not afraid of a turnaround challenge but also comfortable in high growth environments. Using a ‘lessons learnt’ approach she has a strong interest in the intersection of process, behaviour and culture that underpins financial performance.

She has led teams and businesses for WHK Crowe Horwath (Findex), Parsons Brinckerhoff (WSP) and Mott McDonald both nationally and internationally, as well as worked within GOCs, ASX listed entities and large SME groups.  Notable projects include the development of the funding framework and participant due diligence for DRETs $6 Billion Carbon Capture and Storage Program, sell-side due diligence for an $850M Waste Business, completion of a Business Case for the PA Hospital Redevelopment and critique and review of Essential Energy’s Regulatory Price Reset Submission (Technical and Commercial) 2019.

Her professional career spans deep experience across the professional services, infrastructure, mining and resources, health, construction, agriculture, tourism, and entertainment sectors, with her often having to understand complex technical and commercial concepts quickly to be able to relay the financial and investment consequence to a diverse range of audiences.
