“A trusted advisor helps business owners navigate growth, manage risk and make confident decisions about the future.”

Expertise

Nick advises private businesses, high-net-worth individuals and family groups on growth, governance, business structuring and strategic decision-making. He works alongside business owners to navigate complexity, strengthen decision-making and ensure their business remains positioned for long-term success.

Working predominantly with founder-led and privately owned businesses, Nick provides broad business advisory support that extends well beyond traditional accounting and taxation matters. He helps clients assess whether their structures remain fit for purpose, identify and mitigate commercial risks, strengthen corporate governance frameworks and make informed decisions that support sustainable growth.

His experience is particularly valuable during periods of growth, transition and change. Nick regularly supports clients with succession planning, trust and company structures, capital gains tax planning, transaction support, acquisitions, capital investment decisions and business exit strategies. He also advises on complex matters where commercial outcomes, governance considerations and taxation implications intersect. In addition, Nick serves on advisory boards and not-for-profit boards, providing clients with practical commercial insight alongside technical expertise.

Clients value Nick’s proactive approach and ability to translate complex accounting and taxation concepts into clear, practical advice. Rather than reacting to problems after they arise, he focuses on helping clients identify opportunities, anticipate challenges and put the right structures and frameworks in place before issues become costly or difficult to reverse.

Background

Beginning in accounting while completing university studies, Nick has built more than two decades of experience across small firms, mid-tier practices and over a decade in firms serving private clients. His career has evolved from technical accounting and taxation into broader business advisory and corporate governance roles.

Based in Brisbane, Nick advises business owners and investors across Australia. Over the past four years, he has served on a number of advisory boards, working closely with directors, business owners and management teams to provide strategic guidance on growth, governance, risk management, succession planning and long-term business strategy. Through this experience, he brings an independent perspective to complex business decisions while helping clients achieve sustainable long-term outcomes.
