Background

Amir started his career over two decades ago in assurance, working with organisations ranging from smaller SMEs to energy producers. He then spent 10 years in commercial roles, including finance manager and financial analyst positions across health, mental health, social housing and other sectors.

He later joined PwC in New Zealand to move further into advisory work, then transferred to PwC Brisbane. Through those roles, he gained exposure to larger organisations, private equity-backed businesses, complex financials, complex transactions, finance systems, operational improvement and finance team structures.
