Ashneel advises medium-to-large enterprises, government entities and growth-focused organisations through complex external audits, statutory financial reporting and major business transitions.
His strength lies in understanding an organisation quickly, identifying the areas of greatest audit risk and resolving significant accounting issues early. He has led comprehensive financial statement audits through corporate acquisitions, complex reporting standards, lean finance teams and strict compliance deadlines, helping management address issues before year-end reporting.
He has worked across education, government, not-for-profit, financial services, manufacturing, natural resources and other private-sector organisations in Australia and the Pacific Islands.
Ashneel brings a practical, risk-based approach to each engagement. He focuses on the matters that carry the greatest financial and reporting significance while maintaining a clear view of the organisation behind the numbers. Clients value his consistency and depth of knowledge, with some specifically requesting his continued involvement across successive audit cycles.
Ashneel began his career with KPMG in Fiji, auditing banks, public-sector bodies and organisations across Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Tuvalu. After moving to Australia in 2015, he joined BDO across its Sydney and Brisbane offices, working with ASX-listed and acquisition-intensive businesses. He later joined at the Queensland Audit Office, auditing major public-sector entities including the Department of Health, Urban Utilities, Gladstone Area Water Board and Townsville City Council.
Ashneel joined Vincents in 2021 and is now an Associate Director in Audit & Assurance.
