With over 32 years’ experience in forensic accounting, Jonathan is considered a pioneer in the field. His financial analysis, risk and compliance and investigative skills have allowed him to work on a diverse range of matters involving; insurance claims/litigation, commercial disputes, financial crime, risk and regulatory compliance, restructuring and corporate advisory.
Jonathan is regularly called upon to provide expert witness testimony in the District and Supreme Courts of Queensland, the Supreme Court of NSW and the Federal Court of Australia.
In the areas of Corporate Advisory and Reconstruction, Jonathan has advised on M&A transactions valued at more than $10b and has assisted in the turnaround of many businesses in crisis.
Jonathan is one of the Founding Directors of Vincents, having previously worked at KPMG.
Over the last 32 years Jonathan has overseen the expansion of Vincents from a two person firm to the highly respected national advisory firm it is today. Jonathan acted as joint Managing Director of Vincents from 1991 to 2006, Managing Director from 2006 to 2011 and Executive Chair from 2020 to date.
Jonathan has published and presented many papers on a variety of forensic accounting and risk and compliance issues for various organisations including; ASIC, Queensland Law Society, Bar Association of Queensland, CAANZ, CPA Australia, Australian Lawyers Alliance, ACT Law Society, Lexis Nexis and Women in Insurance.
