Julia specialises in the preparation of expert accountant reports across various areas such as personal injury, family law and commercial litigation matters.

Julia’s expertise lies in financial modelling and statistical analysis for the assessment of economic loss, fund management costs for brain-injured plaintiffs, loss of dependency claims and class actions. She also specialises in:

• Commercial litigation

She has prepared expert reports in relation to all Australian jurisdictions and for several international matters.

Background

Julia has over 15 years of experience in the area of forensic accounting, litigation support and business valuations.

Julia joined the Vincents Brisbane team in 2007 after pursuing a career in taxation and insolvency services. Two years later, in 2009, Julia established Vincents’ Canberra office where she led the Forensic Accounting team for eight years. Over this time, she oversaw significant growth and continually furthered her knowledge.

In 2017, Julia established Vincents’ Adelaide office, specialising in forensic accounting and litigation support. Julia was promoted to Director in 2019 and continues to lead the local Adelaide Forensic Accounting unit. She works extensively in both the SA and ACT jurisdictions.

Publications

Julia has published and presented many papers on a variety of forensic accounting issues for a range of professional organisations. These include the Law Society of South Australia, the Law Society of the Australian Capital Territory, the Southwest Slopes Law Society and the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
