Contributing to a better world.
Our Workplace Giving Initiative allows our team to deduct small amounts from their pay each fortnight and donate it to a charity. The charity is selected by the winner of the Vincents Cup; our award which celebrates one of our people who has made a significant contribution to either the firm or wider community. At the end of the year, Vincents either matches or contributes a % of the money donated by staff.
We are also passionate about encouraging our team to participate in activities that enrich our wider community.
Our dedication to service that is accessible, authentic, and empathetic would not be possible without our people.
These values drive our work, and we know that having varied and rich perspectives helps us to better solve complex problems. We are invested in diversifying our team – because great people do great work.
The Vincents Cup recognises a team member who has made a significant contribution to the firm or their community in the past financial year. Our team is asked to nominate their fellow colleagues and, in addition to holding the cup for the year, the winner nominates the firm’s Workplace Giving charity for the year.
This year, Carissa Lacey reached a major milestone, stepping into the role of Director in Vincents’ Forensic Services division after more than a decade with Vincents.
From her start as a graduate to her current role as a trusted forensic expert, Carissa has built a career marked by impact. She delivers pragmatic, expert solutions in complex financial matters and contributes to the profession through her role on the CA ANZ Queensland Regional Council and by delivering accounting and business valuation workshops to both accounting and legal professionals.
Carissa has also championed Workplace Giving by selecting Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) as her charity of choice. CMRI is dedicated to pioneering research into the more than 6,000 genetic diseases that affect 1 in 20 children. Through its Jeans for Genes campaign, CMRI raises awareness and funding to create a future where treatments work the first time, every time, giving children with genetic diseases a chance at healthier, brighter lives.
Congratulations, Carissa, on winning the 2025 Vincents Cup. We are excited to continue collaborating with you to support Children’s Medical Research Institute and further their vital mission.
