Not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and government bodies are often subject to a range of regulatory obligations that require you to have your books and records verified. Our team can assist you in ensuring your records are accurate and in compliance with the prescribed set of regulations.

We can help you identify specific regulatory requirements that apply to your entity, and the best course of action to comply with those regulations.

If your organisation tenders for construction, cleaning, security or traffic management work in the ACT then you will be required to comply with the Secure Local Jobs Code (SLJC). This requirement applies to both for-profit and not-for-profit entities, and to all work undertaken—regardless of the scope or value of the work.

Our team of experts are experienced with the requirements of the SLJC and can assist you in applying for and obtaining your Secure Local Jobs Certification. The process requires a thorough assessment of your records to produce an audit report that we then lodge on your behalf with the ACT Government.

We assist your organisation in performing agreed upon procedures to an absolute level of quality.

Agreed upon procedure assignments are conducted by our team of experts whenever your entity requires a matter to be investigated. It can involve an in-depth analysis or can be a review of expense transactions, purchases, sales or bank transactions covering a certain period.

We are committed to performing these assignments per the agreed upon procedures with your organisation and in line with the Australian Auditing Standards.

As a not-for-profit organisation, you likely receive funding from the Commonwealth, State, and other entities. This funding comes with a range of compliance requirements, governed by an agreement and terms that outline how the funds can be spent.

The funding agreements usually require an audit or acquittal of the funds received. We help your NFP navigate these requirements and ensure you are adhering to the reporting and lodgement schedules.

Our team has significant expertise in providing these audits for NFPs and determining the format of the reporting requirements, the type of assurance required and the timing of the assurance report. We undertake this process in the most efficient manner possible, ensuring minimal disruption to your organisation.

All our grant acquittal audits are undertaken in accordance with the Australian Auditing Standards and the specific requirements of your funding agreements.

If your NFP owns or manages any buildings or premises, then you are required to provide your tenants or lessees with an annual audited statement of outgoings. As outgoings are a major cost for your tenants, it is important that you comply by providing clear, accurate statements.

Our team of expert audit advisors can assist you in preparing this documentation and providing it in line with regulatory requirements.
